Details

Edwin Jagger is Europe's foremost manufacturer of luxury handmade shaving equipment. Edwin Jagger products are crafted and hand assembled in Sheffield England, a city known for its rich industrial history. The Edwin Jagger Loxley Imitation Ivory Shaving Brush (Best Badger) is a high-quality hand-filled shaving brush, part of the Edwin Jagger Premium Collection.

The brush is crafted using 100% best badger hair. Best badger is a good quality choice of hair, regarded as the benchmark standard of shaving brush manufacturers and the most popular choice for wet shavers. The hair is generally grey in colour although the colours of individual hairs vary from grey and brown to black. The lather created is far superior to that resulting from the use of a bristle brush.

The Edwin Jagger Loxley range is part of Edwin Jagger’s Premium Collection, hand crafted from carefully selected, finest quality polyester material that emulates genuine ivory.

Ensure the brush is cleaned thoroughly between use to prolong the lifespan of the product. After shaving, rinse the brush in hot water, flick away any excess, and hang the brush on a stand with the hair pointing down. If you do not have a stand, leave the brush pointing up rather than horizontal so that air can get to all the hairs and dry the brush naturally. This brush will fit the Edwin Jagger small range of shaving brush stands.

Avoid storing a wet brush for long periods. If your brush has a build-up of soap, soak it in a solution of borax or borax substitute. When correct care is taken a quality shaving brush should last for years to come and can even become an heirloom to pass down to the next generation.

The Edwin Jagger logo is clearly branded on the brush as a mark of authenticity, a finish that has come to be associated with pure class within the traditional shaving industry.

All Edwin Jagger products are finished off with a standard quality check and packed up securely in Edwin Jagger packaging, allowing for safe and secure delivery.
