The shaving set is made up of a Double edge safety razor, shaving brush and matching stand for storage. The handles draw inspiration from Edwin Jagger’s most popular designs, reimagined with elegant curves and distinctive detailing crafted exclusively for this anniversary edition. The colourful shaving brush and razor handles are made from high-quality bio-resin, containing at least 30% plant-based materials. Selected from Edwin Jagger’s best-loved colourways and influenced by global lifestyle trends, each resin handle is hand-polished and paired with a bright chrome-plated collar, creating a smart and striking finish.
About the shaving brush
The shaving brushes are hand-finished with premium synthetic fibre, an ethical, vegan-friendly, and affordable alternative to badger hair. The black synthetic fibres retain heat and, when combined with shaving cream or soap, produce a rich, creamy lather for the perfect shave.
The fibres themselves are made with over one-third plant-based materials (including corn and corn starch). They are a more eco-friendly choice, requiring less energy and producing fewer emissions during manufacture – better for the planet without compromising performance.
Synthetic fibres are also highly durable, resistant to common issues found in natural brushes, quick-drying, and easy to maintain.
The imitation ebony handle is a traditional and distinguished choice. The pure jet-black colour is defined by its refined simplicity.
About the safety razor
The two-part die-cast razor head is designed to deliver a shave that is both gentle on the skin and remarkably close. Featuring the classic Edwin Jagger closed-comb design, this chrome-plated, hand-polished head is celebrated within the wet-shaving community for its outstanding precision and performance.
Each razor comes supplied with a Feather Hi-Stainless blade to get you started. Edwin Jagger recommends pairing their razors with Feather blades, as the combination of the head’s design and the blade’s sharpness ensures a clean, comfortable, and efficient shave.
All double-edge (DE) blades follow a standardized size and shape, meaning any DE blades you choose will be fully compatible with this razor.
