The Edwin Jagger Imitation Light Horn Best Badger Shaving Brush with Stand is a wonderful addition to any shaver's arsenal, giving you the means to create a luxurious, quality lather every time you shave.

This brush is handmade in the Edwin Jagger factory in Sheffield, using imitation horn polyester and 'best badger' fibres. This grade of badger hair is finer and more pliable than 'pure badger' and it is longer and less dark. The fibres are densely packed, meaning the brush holds a good amount of water, leading to a moist and rich lather, which in turn means greater emollient properties and a slicker foam on the face. All in all a quality brush will lead to a comfortable shave with less cuts and irritation.

A stand is included here, providing you with an easy way to hang and dry the brush thoroughly after use -- proper brush care is completely necessary to maintain its quality and usability. Always properly remove any residue from the brush with warm water and then hang to dry. We also recommend against using shaving oils with this brush as this can cause the fibres to snap. Some slight shedding of hair is usual with a brand new brush, but once it has settled this brush should last for many years.
