I had been using a Merkur 38c for a couple of years but fancied a change. The design of this appealed so I took the plunge. Initial thoughts were of a lightweight, rather insubstantial razor with a black plastic handle - not great! However, after a few days of use I can confirm this is a very superior razor and a match for my 38c but without the bulk. One niggle is that the corners feel quite sharp against the face and neck, but otherwise a perfect shave and highly recommended. Excellent service from TESC too!
