The Edwin Jagger Chatsworth Imitation Horn DE Safety Razor & Feather Blades is a high-quality closed comb double edge safety razor, part of the Edwin Jagger premium range which include a free pack of Feather Blades.

This double edge safety razor is fitted with the classic Edwin Jagger DE Head, which has been popular amongst the wet shaving community for many years. The closed comb head is expertly engineered and finished with a high-quality chrome plate. It has an excellent reputation for the expert level of shaving it achieves.

The classic Edwin Jagger closed comb razor head is praised for being an excellent choice for those trying traditional shaving for the first time, whilst remaining a firm favourite of those who are more experienced.

When used with any standard DE razor blade and quality shaving cream or soap, this razor will produce a close and accurate shave often compared to that of a straight razor.

The Edwin Jagger Chatsworth range is part of Edwin Jagger’s premium collection, machined from solid brass, hold polished, and triple plated. It is finished with an imitation horn polyester material. The design has a traditional style, with an elegant curved shape.

All double edge safety razors within the Edwin Jagger premium range include a pack of five free Feather Hi-Stainless DE Safety Razor Blades to get you started. Feather Blades are the preferred pairing recommended by Edwin Jagger as the sharpness of the blade paired with the head offers a comfortable, clean shave.

The blades can be recycled after use, making this product a popular choice for those looking for a waste free method of shaving.

All Edwin Jagger products are finished off with a thorough quality check and packed securely in attractive Edwin Jagger packaging, allowing for safe and secure delivery.

The ferrari of DE razor
Decided to go back to DE razor, about 2 months ago and bought a Parker 96 Daytona, which I found quite aggressive on the skin.
So I decided to shop around and read reviews about all sort of razor and trust me it's a mind field.
Even watching some youtube channel added to the ocnfusion, except for PaulHFilms, who called it the Ferrari of DE razors. I then contacted Edwin Jagger's customer support, to recommend a razor, that would offer a close shave, but while not being so agressive, as I have coarse beard.
They recommended their DE89, but I kept looking at the Chatsworth Horn razor for a few weeks, after which my wife got frustrated looking at me being undecided. She convinced me to go for the one I really wanted, which I then did and guess what NO REGRETS.

I can honestly say this is the only double edge razor you will ever need, once you buy this razor you will not want to try anything else. When I did the first pass, it didn't feel like a close shave as it was very mild, until I checked the razor and my cheek.
It gave me a really close shave, while feeling very mild and gave me no razor burns, skin irritation.
The craftsmanship finish and quality on this beauty of a DE razor, is second to none.

Again this is the only razor you'll ever need and as someone else said on their review, once you buy this, you'll feel disappointed with other razors.

Great razor
I was apprehensive about the DE razors as I had never used one - but after a month I have yet to even knick myself. I'm sure this has something to do with the quality of the Chatsworth. Looks great, nice balance and weight, very happy.

Had to replace my son's previous Edwin jagger razor as it fell on to our wooden bathroom floor and the head sheared off.

Superb product
This is an outstanding razor. It improves on the regular DE considerably with the addition of the longer handle, making a very good product excellent. To give you some idea of how highly I think of it, this is my 3rd Chatsworth razor! I have one in ebony and one in ivory to match this one in horn. And they are all working fine!!!

My only concern is with the longevity of the product hence duplicates. There are reports of the head breaking off at the screw point but thankfully nothing like this has happened to me. I am quite careful with these razors and make sure that I don't put them anywhere where they can fall etc.

The razor was packed very nicely and would be suitable as a gift...and it came with a box of Feather blades, which IMHO are far better than the Derby blades I got with my earlier razors. (I use the Feather blades exclusively with these razors, BTW)
